Let us laugh fully in enjoyment

because you are you and I am me.

Let us laugh for we are not what we once were

nor are we old.

Nor are we wise.

Let us laugh fully in enjoyment

at the words crafted so carefully or the ones said without thought.

Never were we good writers

of our own destinies but such eloquent writers of others;

too afraid to touch our own.

Let us laugh fully in enjoyment

because circles have beginnings but no end.

Mountains will always surrounds us internally,

if you can’t see them you aren’t

close enough or aren’t looking.
